Former president Bill Clinton encountered several Black Lives Matter thugs who attempted to disrupt a rally where he was campaigning for his wife.
Clinton made an impressive show of strength when he struck back at the protesters with the facts and called out the BLM racists for their radical inconsistencies.
“I don’t know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them down to the street to murder other African-American children. Maybe you thought they were good citizens — she didn’t. She didn’t! You’re defending the people who killed the lives you say matter. Tell the truth.”
Clinton’s response showed uncharacteristic backbone for a Democrat when going up against a group like BLM. And he was right to point out the truth – that these people are hypocrites.
But, of course, the keyword above is ‘uncharacteristic.’ Naturally, there was a backlash from the racial grievance community and Clinton’s handling of the matter was criticized as ‘disrespectful’ and ‘condescending.’
So what is the liberal thing to do when faced with criticism from racist bullies? Cave in and apologize. And that’s precisely what Clinton did.
“So I did something yesterday in Philadelphia. I almost want to apologize for it, but I want to use it as an example of the danger threatening our country.”
Do you think Clinton was right to shut down the BLM protesters, or should he have apologized?
