Ivanka Gets Dragged Into Immigration Debate

Meghan McCain of ABC’s “The View” questioned why Ivanka Trump has yet to comment on the zero-tolerance policy enforced by the Trump administration, which takes immigrant kids away from their families.

McCain stated, “There is a lot of people on the right pushing back on this. I actually thought this morning I was watching —there’s a horrible audio coming out of children crying which I don’t understand how you can listen to that and not feel somewhat differently about this. But where is Ivanka in all of this? Because she’s all for women and mothers and she has a White House role and a job. And I’m sort of interested that her whole platform has been women and mothers and she doesn’t have anything to say about this.”

Ivanka Trump IS the Donald’s senior adviser, via the Donald’s own protocol, She, though seems to reject that, office when it comes to bad decisions that He has made. Being Senior advisor, She is subject to his stupidity, and even then with her ill timed photo op, while other women, due to her daddy’s political stupidity are having their children ripped from their arms, of her cuddling her child has put her in the very light, that this “Rightwise” author is crying about. However it shows the lack of care about the right, for the actual rights of others.

Guess what: ILLEGAL people have no constitutional rights

      • eclemensen

Human rights over run constitutional rights. this WAS a country that claimed due process, but it’s becoming a country that if you cross Trump you will be hung.

        • rivahmitch

Sorry, Invaders are invaders and should be treated as such.

          • eclemensen

Perhaps you should read the fifth amendment, that plainly states that everyone in this country is accorded due Process, whether they are a citizen or not.

          • rivahmitch

Yep. That’s why we need a wall and why the invaders should NOT be allowed to cross the border. Build the wall. Militarize the border and shoot anything northbound except at official entry points.

          • eclemensen

You ever hear of the great wall of China? There were three of them, they didn’t work. But since you want your grand kids saddled with paying for a wall that, only works to keep the good ones out, and lets the really bad ones in, good luck with that. Furthermore the “invaders” came to immigration ports, legally, and it was the government that would not provide the proper system for finding out if they were eligible for asylum. Question how far back is your linage, the name isn’t American Indian, so you probably don’t have a right to be here either.

          • rivahmitch

Actually, the Great Wall did work periodically. The cost of the wall is less than one years cost to the taxpayers of supporting so-called “illegal immigrants” so that’s not a significant issue. Actually, you’re only half right about where the invaders come from. However, there are a nujmber of solutions to the problem if we stop allowing them in and make life less comfortable for the ones who are here. Things like e-verify, the elimination of ALL welfare and other benefits intended for citizens would go a long way toward discouraging (and diminishing) their presence. I have no interest in paying for the benefits of those who come to take wealthy from my country rather than contribute to it. I’d kill a home invader and believe those who invade my country should be subject the same penalties.

Much of history is migrations where the stronger cultures overcame the weaker so that argument is irrelevant. However, for the stronger culture to voluntarily surrender to the weaker is stupidity.

As to my lineage, it’s none of damned business. However, my parents fought for this country in foreign wars as have I personally which does give us a legitimate stake and a sense of ownership. I see no reason to surrender that which has been earned and which we have the ability to defend.

          • eclemensen

I would dearly like for you explain how the Great Wall of China cost less then one year, of taxpayer money. in todays terms. But I will say that the cost of one f35 is far more then the cost of illegal taxpayer funding. for my part I wasn’t allowed in the military due to being a diabetic, however I did two tours with the USO, on my second tour a mortar hit the camp we were in and killed two of my band members. and yes in previous post I have refered to Grand fathers that road with Teddy Roosevelt and along down the line to Paris in WWII to the western Pacific in WWII , but to my point the American Indians would have a great point stating that you and I are Illegal aliens. AS to cultures the adoption of the better parts of a different culture makes a better culture, but the culture, that is being cultivated presently is not going to make America great, but is destroying the best part of our culture. Calling people names, telling crowds to beat up decenters. claiming the right to grab women’s genitals. and lying about everything under the sun, is the culture that Trump is cultivating. Sure it has always been there, but Trump is making it worse. AS far as Illegals are concerned I far prefer someone who would fight for the country even though they weren’t citizens, then somebody who “bought” five deferments. Now maybe Faux news has called all these people illegal, but according to the Border Patrol themselves 95% of the illegals presented themselves at the immigration port of entry, which is what they are suppose to do, which means, according to the fifth amendment they are to be accorded due Process, (look it up,if you don’t believe me) But instead Trump has punished these people with out said due process, and barbarically ripped children from their mothers. Lets not forget that these children NOW will be a tax payer burden until they are old enough to take care of them selves. That smacks of Nazi internment camps of WWII, and certainly does not make America Great. What should have been done was that somehow or another Trump should have planed ahead and provided temporary living quarters for these people and again according to law, provided due process. AS to your last sentence, they are not coming here to take away anything from you, but to work to share the same kind of living you have. THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE TAKEN PARTS OF AMERICAN LIFE FROM AMERICANS ARE THE CORPORATIONS THAT HIRE THEM AT LOWER WAGES THEN YOU COULD AFFORD TO LIVE ON.

          • rivahmitch

I was suggesting that the cost of a wall between the US and mexico would cost less that what the taxpayers sink into benefits for invaders annually. Further, 1 F35 (beyond the 1st one) does not cost hundreds of Billions. It’s apparent that further discussion between us serves no useful purpose. We obviously do not and will not ever agree on anything and are simply talking so I’ll end this. Perhaps we’ll see each other over the barricades when the SHTF.

      • rivahmitch

They’re NOT “illegal” anything. They’re Foreign Invaders and (irrespective of age, sex, race or any other exterraneous considerations the globalist communists in the media or the Democrat party may raise) should be treated as such. If invaders entering a private home should be shot. Invaders entering this should receive the same treatment. Semper Fi!!I

and you think aborting a full term baby from an american woman is just fine!

      • eclemensen

this has nothing to do with Abortion, but since you have criminalized me for something you don’t know anything about. First Abortion should be a decision between a woman and her doctor. Second with that being said If I were to lose my wife bringing a child into the world, I favor abortion. Further more since the right is always making it harder for a couple to live, including housing, and education, and they will not do anything about gun control, I feel so bad for a child to be brought up in this society.

    • rivahmitch

What about the right of American citizens to deny them access to our country?

      • eclemensen

Go read the plaque at the foot of the statute of liberity

        • rivahmitch

Sorry, Emma Lazarus poetry is NOT a rational argument. Also, those wh came through Ellis Island, were vetted and came with the understanding that they would assimilate.

She “aint” a McCain so she is watching to let the president act as he saw fit and he did much to the dismay of the Dems who didnt do anything positive during the previous 8 yrs.! That goes for the RINO,s like the McCains as well !

  • Deplorable Irredeemable Susan

Where was all of this media outrage when Bush was in office and set this into motion?
Why didn’t Obama fix the situation when he had his 8 years? He furthered it along with DACA.
Every liberal/rino blames only President Trump and it is NO surprise. It’s what they do.
Nobody blames the source of this problem on the evil leaders of their countries of origin.
The globalists and George Soros most likely brokered a deal with those same leaders,
to send their cast offs here. Then they paid the media to play it up, whipping up a MSM
feeding frenzy. You leftists are not fooling anyone!!!

  • William Gordon

Yes, she is a Mc Cain–he is a traitor to his country now that the VN stuff is starting to show.–and she is backing him even if it is bad. Mc Cain is why we still have Obama care and a few other problems by Obama–Leftist PIG
