A grand jury has been convened to consider whether Noor Salman, the wife of the Orlando terrorist, should be indicted.
Apparently, the 30-year-old Palestinian woman helped her husband Omar Mateen scout out locations for his attack. She even went with him when he went to buy the ammunition.
But since she failed to tell the authorities about what her husband was planning, she could be charged as an accessory to multiple counts of murder and attempted murder.
Fox News contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano even thinks she could possibly face the death penalty.
When Napolitano was asked during an appearance on Shepherd Smith Reporting whether Salman should be arrested, the judge replied, “She should absolutely be arrested.”
He explained how Salman was a flight risk and “a material witness to the commission of enormous felonies.” He even suggested that “she may have participated in and conspired with her husband in these extreme events.”
Fox News has reported that authorities have seized computers and cell phones belonging to Salman and Mateen. They’re being examined to see if they contain any information that could assist in the investigation.
Do you think Salman is guilty of conspiring with her husband and should she be arrested?
