Not long after Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson stated his plan to sell the team for alleged sexual misconduct, hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs said he was interested in purchasing the NFL franchise.
Along with this, he also stated he was going to sign former quaterback Colin Kaepernick in 2018.
“I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word,” Combs tweeted.
Later he also tweeted “there are no majority African American NFL owners.”
“I believe it’s time to turn the franchise over to new ownership.”
“Well I need to send a message out to everybody in the beautiful state of North Carolina.”
“I will be the best NFL owner that you can imagine.”
A little cocky, are we?
