White House Speaks On Roy Moore

The White House has finally broken their silence on Roy Moore’s sexual misconduct accusations.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders claimed the reports to be “mere allegation,” and if true, Huckabee said Trump expects Moore “will do the right thing and step aside.”

Sanders also said: “Like most Americans, the president believes we cannot allow a mere allegation, in this case one from many years ago, to destroy a person’s life…however, the president also believes that if these allegations are true, Judge Moore will do the right thing and step aside.”

The Post reported:

Alone with Corfman, Moore chatted with her and asked for her phone number, she says. Days later, she says, he picked her up around the corner from her house in Gadsden, drove her about 30 minutes to his home in the woods, told her how pretty she was and kissed her. On a second visit, she says, he took off her shirt and pants and removed his clothes. He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear. …

Wendy Miller says she was 14 and working as a Santa’s helper at the Gadsden Mall when Moore first approached her, and 16 when he asked her on dates, which her mother forbade. Debbie Wesson Gibson says she was 17 when Moore spoke to her high school civics class and asked her out on the first of several dates that did not progress beyond kissing. Gloria Thacker Deason says she was an 18-year-old cheerleader when Moore began taking her on dates that included bottles of Mateus Rosé wine. The legal drinking age in Alabama was 19.

  • Dodie1990

32 years and right after the victory in the primary? The swamp and McConnell are desperate to keep the anti Trump people in.

    • richard black

      luther strange ????

  • Name

Wow! A memory of an elephant. Gloria Thacker Deason remembers after 30-40 years that the name of the wine that she was offered was: Mateus Rosé wine. I don’t believe that for a moment

  • CCblogging

Sliming their opponents is common procedure for the Fascist Democrats. The dems have done it before and will again. The paid Democrat bimbo accusers will waltz away into obscurity after the election and Moore’s victory..

  • Little Lulu

I think Judge Moore should get a lawyer and sue the pants off of everyone involved in this smear campaign. How dare the liberal perverts destroy a man’s life for political power. Liberals (and RINOs) are disgusting!

  • vladilyich

The Alabama Atty General reminded us that the Virgin Mary was 14 when she bore Jesus, so it’s OK.

  • richard black

to the dems…to the rinos…to the #me too crowd…..i grew up then…every…and i mean every little girl wanted “the older” man…cant make this up…i my first wife was the same girl..and now ive got a .. a 36 yr old daughter with kids of her of her own…she wasnt a “VIRGIN” @ 14 !!!

    • Tony

You probably won’t find many 15 year old virgins in many schools anymore.

  • Douglas L Fautt

I do not believe a word of this. Right here at election time is TYPICAL of the Democrats.

  • kerijay

They done the same thing to Herman Cain. That’s the only thing Dems have is false sex attacks. They can’t seem to think of anything other than sex. How about the Dossier and the DNC swept under the rug. Comey, Mueller, Hillary and DNC should have to pay for their hoax against Trump, not taxpayers. Sessions do your job.

    • Jeanne Stotler

So what if a 18 or 19 YO dated a 32/34 YO. I married a 38 YO when I was 18, neither of us knew the others age when we started dating and when we knew, we were in love and had a great marriage and great kids. Before I dated him I had said “NO” to others and these girls could have said same. As for 14 YO, did she lie about her age, and where was her Mother and Father, if this really happened. Seems Dems can find all kinds of tramps, but forget the #1 pervert that was in WH and a young Intern named Monica.

    • Well, not to be picky, but their first line of attack is racism. If that doesn’t work, then perverted sex attacks. Funny, most of what you hear in the news nowadays is perversion done by the liberals.

Back in the early 1930’s in the South a GOP challenger was running against a Democrat and was doing pretty good. A lot of the people in the South at that time had very little schooling and this was during the time of the Depression and most people were out of work. The Democrat running for office gave a speech on the radio saying that his fellow opponent had attended college and while in college his opponent, in front of everyone, had matriculated. The people had no idea what the word meant and assumed, as the Democrat giving the speech figured they would, that the GOP opponent did something unspeakable and unprintable. Of course the Democratic won the election by a large margin. My point if you use the right words and make the right charges at the right time, whether they are true or not, you can not only make people believe anything and ruin not only peoples reputations but their lives. And liberal Democrats are experts at doing this.

  • Deplorable Irredeemable Susan

What do you say to a dirt digging expedition on his opponent?
As much muck raking should go into getting the “goods” on Doug Jones!
AS a matter of fact, let’s go through the records of EVERY Democrat that is
in power today. I would imagine we could find a lot worse than what Judge
Roy Moore is being accused of. I double dare you Dems , with your glass houses!

    • Jeanne Stotler

I am sure there is, the saying foes, People in Glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones, now is time for someone to look into Dems, Males and females, especially where all their wealth came from.

      • Tony

And it doesn’t even have to be true. Just need someone of the opposite sex to make the accusation. That would be an easy way to get a bunch of these bumb’s out of office or keep them from being considered for office.

  • So it seems that the Democrats can have sex with boys or girls men or women or with whatever’s, today or yesterday, and that just something to be expected. You know boys will be boys and girls will be girls, and whatever’s will be and do whatever, just little peccadilloes, ho cares. BUT if a REPUBLICAN! Had some hint of an encounter that was not of the accepted norm of the day, fifty years ago THAT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE. Is there perhaps a wee bit of a double standard going on?

  • gtm615

I like to maintain an open mind on this rather than rush to the same judgement our supposed tolerant liberal left has demonstrated.. Having a daughter of my own who was raped, I understand the complications of his word vs. her word. And that is all it really is – especially after 40 years. The problem I see is that the longer this goes, the less believable is her word. I see a Washington Post which has spent the past year steeped in false conspiracy theories and accusations as the source of this “story”. They are anything but a trustworthy source of information. I see a nearly 40 year old “claim” released at a conveniently timed point to destroy a mans future and family. I see people making the accusations who were intimately connected with the Clinton campaign and Moore’s opposition candidate (an unimportant fact omitted by the Washington Post). And I also see information about a supposed Washington Post journalist – caught on tape – offering “1000’s” of dollars to a woman to make allegations against Moore. This has all the makings of another liberal left and media smear tactic.

  • Roc RIzzo

    LOCK HIM UP!!!!!!!

    • Jim Strong

      • Roc RIzzo

        Statutory rape!

        • Tony

          Lock who up, McConnel?

          • Roc RIzzo

No Moore. Oh, I forgot that it probably isn’t statuary rape in Alabamastan. I understand that a guy can marry his sister at 12 there, and there are no rape laws.

        • Jim Strong

And you were there when this happened ?

          • Roc RIzzo

  • Joe Williams

Yup it looks very Strange, doesn’t it ?
In particular, how comes these serious accusations lay dormant for decades and are only now brought forward, when there is no time left to prove anything before the upcoming election ? Besides, US laws clearly place the burden of proof into the hands of the accuser, and a vague allegation is no proof ! Also the only phone number, that could be given at the time was that of the girl’s parents. There were no cell phones around then.

  • just care

I’m guessing the girls were paid to lie. If so, I hope they get as much prison time that Moore would have gotten if guilty.

    • sibermike7

So that would be NO PRISON TIME!
      What was he “guilty” of?
He was unmarried. CHECK. No problem.
All were of legal age for dating (age of consent in AL is 16). CHECK. No problem.
No actual sex was performed. CHECK. No problem.
He was a gentleman and returned all of them to their homes when they requested. CHECK. No problem.

What is the problem EVEN IF ALL THE ACCUSATIONS WERE TRUE!! (Which I do NOT believe!)
What a bunch of bovine excrement!

Better would be jail time for perjury and defamation of character! But then all of the Democraps would join their cronies behind bars.

    • gene smiith

If you listen to them, and WATCH THEM AS THEY ATTEMPT TO READ what the Witch Attorney has written for them… becomes impossible to take them seriously….really lousy actors and come on, crying( No tears) after 40 years? Not even close to believable. If the memory is SO VIVID IT BRINGS TEARS, would you have to read from a script?

  • Political View

I hope Moore Wins the election !

  • Philomena

This story sounds suspicious. If the story has any truth why didn’t the ladies speak out before the primary?
They need to be queestioned under oath.

    • Tony

Lie detector test. Some have really wild imaginations, you know.

  • J Bryan Jensen

Roy Moore is a man of high character and get integrity, unlike the liars trying to defame him. He will not be intimated by these despicable morsels of trash and he will not withdraw from the race for Senate. The RINOs don’t want him there, because he will not promote their anti-Constitutional Republic agenda. Dream on leftist pukes.

  • parthenon1

She said “is not guilty as charged ” A court of law determines that so after elction Senator Moore I’m sure will be willing to face an investigation ! Wonder if Bill Clinton would do the same thing?

  • john

If accusations is all that is required to get someone to step down; half of D.C. will be out of a job ! B.S. story against Judge Moore ! This smells like a Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals tactic to me !

    • Tony

Sounds like a George Soros hit job, to me.

  • Robert Dimmock

We should tar and feather McConnel and run him out of D.C. He is useless member of the swamp and has been nothing but problem for the nation.

  • George Matyas

I find it amazing that after so many yrs of forgetting they remember everything, how come most people can’t give straight answer as to how are you? Second how did WP verify that they are telling the truth since they never told anyone until know? I believe that slanders laws need to be updated, and news org. need to be held to higher standards, so peoples career aren’t ruined

    • Tony

Maybe it is time to revisit freedom of the press rules and regulations.

      • Roc RIzzo

The FIRST AMENDMENT of the US Constitution reads as follows: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; of abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

See where it says “Congress shall make no law,” and “abridging the freedom of speech or the press?” That is the US Constitution. If you want to get rid of freedom of the press, I suggest that you move to someplace like Saudi Arabia, where the press is quite abridged.

  • souper

16 is the age of consent in AL, seems to young to me it’s the state law. Which makes 3 our of the 4 stories mute. The one that said she was 14 and is now 52 makes sounds to fishy. What if she lied about her age said she was 16? She certainly lied about the phone in her room according to her mother. I think my memory is pretty good but if you ask me about an event, even a traumatic one, from 38 yrs ago I’m not sure how accurate I would be. I know from experience that when you ask people about an event from your childhood the memories not only vary but are sometimes not even remembered by one or more parties concerned. Ask your parents about how you were disciplined for a transgression on your part. See if they remember the same way as you. You can’t tell me a 40 yr old memory is solid unless you have corroborating stories its not believable.

    • Tony

Schools are full of underage pregnant girls. Were they all raped by an older man?

  • Robert Dimmock

As many times as Mr. Moore has been vetted for state and federal positions and none of this showed up until now. That completely smells of BS. These accusations are fraudulent, and Alabamans know it. Tell Mr. McConnel to keep his BS out of Alabama.

  • Allan Recticuli

Sounds very suspicious to this ole boy; Took a while to get the sequences; and the memories focused on track and in the right order; What we have here is a liberal Left smear tactic trying to gain momentum; based on the same principle as the Trump allegations:

  • sibermike7

So NOW she says that she was 16 when “he asked on dates”!!??
Let’s boil this down and for fun say that the allegations were ALL TRUE.

  • Tony

All these fine haired sobs that are accusing Judge Moore are as guilty as they claim he is . If they even looked at the opposite sex in a seductive way they are guilty. Many have done much worse.

  • Doris Will

So many people are saying that they have no reason to doubt the women. Well I do: I have a daughter with mental illness, she refuses to take medication. Two weeks ago, I got a call from the police in a neighboring city. My daughter came to the station to report that her son dropped her grandson off at her place, and her grandson sexually molested her. I answered that her son does not have a son. Also, if he had a son, he would only be 4 or 5 years old. She lives in a world of with everybody raping, spying, stealing from her. There should be background checks made on these women, you just can’t take anything for granted.

  • AbdulCrunch

If many Republican politicians had stayed Democrat, no sexual allegations would surface about their history. However, Harvey Weinstein is hiring Mossad agents to dig up dirt on his accusers, possibly even kill them. Once, I had heard a Democrat was said to say that there are no such thing as “live liabilities”…his wife lost an election, by the way, and many liabilities still died. Maybe the Democrats, who like muckraking, have a point in getting rid of their liabilities, one way or another, hook or crook.

  • jim jones

I don’t think the accusations are credible!

  • Talikka

All the Democrats have left are sexual accusations…Alinsky tactic. Don’t let them be successful.

  • 2riotous

I’m not concerned about Moore’s character, but I am concerned about
McConnell’s if he is truly making up sexual lies about Moore to keep him
out of the Senate, and withdrawing Republican money from Moore’s race.

    • pi may

what great about you hilter youth is you don’t have long to live and that’s a very very good thing
