Veterans Will Be Livid When They Hear What Hillary Just Said about the VA Scandal

During a recent interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Hillary Clinton outright dismissed the complaints that many veterans and their supporters have voiced over the Department of Veterans Affairs’ massive backlog and numerous health care scandals.

“I don’t understand why we have such a problem,” Clinton told Maddow. Rather than address the root of the problems at the VA, she chose to characterize Republicans as attacking the VA unfairly.

Hillary focused on survey results that polled veterans who have received health care and cited how the number of veterans pleased with their treatment from the VA is higher than that of the overall population.

“There have been a number of surveys of veterans, and overall, veterans who do get treated are satisfied with their treatment.

Nobody would believe that from the coverage that you see and the constant berating of the VA that comes from the Republicans, in part, in pursuit of this ideological agenda that they have.”

In fact, Clinton went so far as to dismiss veterans’ concerns by saying that the scandals have, “Not been as widespread as it has been made out to be.”

She also believes that, “Some of the reforms that were adopted last year should be given a chance to work.”

Do you agree with Hillary that the VA scandals have been blown out of proportion? Or is she just refusing to tell the truth again?
